The ramblings of a virtualization consultant

About me

About me

Welcome, and thanks for visiting!

My name is Jesper Alberts and I’m a VMware enthusiast from the Netherlands.
I was born in 1989 in Utrecht and always lived near the middle of the Netherlands. I’ve always had an interest in IT ever since the first computer arrived at our house.

During my career I went from an allround IT administrator to a consultant specialized in different products from VMware. Over the years I’ve gained a lot of experience with implementing, migrating, designing and managing all kinds of environments.

On my blog you can expect to find all kinds of content, from PowerCLI code to reports of my adventures in my homelab or customer environments.

In my spare time you can find me riding my road bike across the Netherlands (or watching it in front of the TV), spending quality time with my daughter or tinkering in the homelab.

Let’s stay in touch!

Setting up my new MBP with the M1 chip. Compared to my "old" one with 10th Gen i5 this thing is really fast! The Intel MBP lacked the snappiness which the M1 certainly has.
